Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

To use Feather, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
• Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law

By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that all account information you provide is accurate and up to date.

2. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of Feather, you must register for an account. When you do, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your login credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately at support@feather-crm.com if you believe your account has been compromised

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You may not transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent.

3. Acceptable Use

Feather is intended for lawful, professional use. You agree not to use the service to:

• Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
• Upload, transmit, or store malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or systems without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application
• Scrape or harvest data from the platform in an automated manner without authorization
• Resell or sublicense access to the service without our consent
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account found to be in violation of this section, without prior notice or liability.

4. Service Availability

We strive to maintain consistent, reliable access to Feather. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service. Downtime may occur due to:

• Scheduled maintenance or infrastructure upgrades
• Third-party service outages beyond our control
• Emergency patches or security responses

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance. We are not liable for any losses arising from service unavailability.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Feather offers both a free tier and a paid Pro plan. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• Billing terms are clearly stated at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@feather-crm.com.

6. Data & Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data and content you input into Feather, including contacts, notes, pipeline records, and any other user-generated content.

By using the service, you grant Feather a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and transmit your data solely to the extent necessary to operate and maintain the service.

We do not claim ownership of your content, and we will never use your data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the Feather platform — including the software, design, branding, trademarks, and documentation — is owned by Feather and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform or its components without express authorization.

8. Third-Party Services

Feather may integrate with or rely on third-party services (such as payment processors or infrastructure providers). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party services. Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time:

• You may delete your account at any time through account settings
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, with or without notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately

Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

Feather is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data or unauthorized access to data
• Business interruption or lost profits
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind
• Actions or failures of third-party services

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Use of the service is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or product offerings. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we may notify users via email or in-app notice. Continued use of Feather after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
