Stage-triggered document creation
Feather can automatically generate a document from a template the moment a contact moves into a specific pipeline stage. You define which stage triggers which template — Feather handles the rest.
This is designed for workflows where the same type of document is always needed at a certain point: a quote when a lead becomes a prospect, a contract when a deal is won, an onboarding packet when a client signs.
When the deal moves to "Proposal Sent", Feather generates the proposal document automatically using the assigned template.

Deal moves to a new stage
When a contact in your pipeline is moved to a configured stage, Feather detects the trigger automatically.
Generation Questions are answered
If the template has Generation Questions, the user is prompted to answer them before the document is created. These fill in client-specific details the template doesn't already know.
Template is pre-filled with contact data
The document is generated using the selected template, populated automatically with contact fields — name, company, email, phone, custom fields, and more.
Document is ready instantly
The finished document appears in the contact's Documents tab and in your global Documents list, ready to review, edit, or send.
