Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 4, 2025
Feather ("Feather", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what rights you have with respect to it when you use our website at feather-crm.com and our web application.
By using Feather, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.

We do not sell your data. Ever.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To create and maintain your account
- To deliver and operate the service
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To respond to your support requests, questions, and feedback
- To identify and fix bugs and improve product reliability
- To understand how people use the product and improve features accordingly
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security threats
- To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts)
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or to train machine learning models without your explicit consent.
3. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of your data. Every contact, note, record, pipeline, and piece of content you create in Feather belongs to you.
Feather does not claim ownership over any user-generated content. We process your data solely as a data processor acting on your behalf, not as a data controller with independent rights over your content.
You can export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON) from within the application.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Infrastructure providers: We use reputable third-party services (hosting, databases, payment processing) that are strictly necessary to operate Feather. These providers have no right to use your data beyond what is needed to provide their services to us.
- Legal obligations: If required by a court order, subpoena, or applicable law, we may disclose data to comply with our legal obligations. Where permitted, we will notify you before doing so.
- Safety and security: To investigate, prevent, or take action against fraud, abuse, or threats to the safety of our users or the platform.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred. We will provide notice before this occurs and ensure the same privacy standards apply.
5. Cookies & Tracking
Feather uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used at a high level. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days
- Some residual data (such as billing records) may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate accounting purposes
- Anonymized or aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained indefinitely for product analytics
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@feather-crm.com.
7. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Our measures include:
- Encryption in transit using TLS/HTTPS for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
- Encryption at rest for stored data
- Strict access controls — only authorized systems and personnel can access production data
- Regular security reviews and updates
- Monitoring for unusual or potentially abusive activity
No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
- Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@feather-crm.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Children's Privacy
Feather is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may notify you via email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of Feather after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
