Updates / Changelog
Product updates, new features, and improvements — posted as they're released.
The biggest update Feather CRM has ever shipped. Nearly every part of the app has been touched — new features, smarter workflows, major UI improvements, and a completely redesigned plan structure.
Now supports up to 100 contacts (up from 25), includes the full Documents module, and has no ads — ever. Up to 2 pipelines (6 stages each), 4 document templates, 12 documents/week, Dashboard, Contacts, Pipelines, Calendar, Documents, Notes, CSV export, 250 MB storage, and standard support.
Up to 1,000 contacts, 5 pipelines (10 stages each), 15 document templates, 100 documents/week, stage-triggered auto-generation, generation questions, Tasks & Reminders, CSV import, contact attachments, 1 GB storage, and priority support.
Unlimited contacts, pipelines, stages, documents, and templates. Includes Analytics, Ledger, Insights, 2 GB storage, and priority support.
Build reusable templates from scratch with a full editor toolbar. Insert any contact field (default or custom) and it auto-fills when a document is generated. Preview the finished result before saving. Every document carries your branding automatically — set it once in Settings.
Enable reserved header/footer zones so your content stays within bounds when printed on physical letterhead.
Connect a template to a pipeline stage. When a contact moves into that stage, a document is automatically generated, pre-filled, and saved to their record.
Define prompts that appear before a document is finalized. Answers are injected into the document at generation time — making each one unique to the deal. Flows can be branching (yes/no paths) for complex documents.
See all saved documents, drafts, and pending-input documents in one place. Create a document by selecting a contact, picking a template, answering any generation questions, and saving. Everything lives on the contact record.
Every pipeline tracks total Estimated Value. Won → confirmation dialog captures actual value, logs estimation gap, creates Ledger entry. Lost → recorded as unrealized loss, tracked in Analytics, not added to the Ledger. Skip for Now → flagged as pending, revisit from Pending Confirmations.
Events and tasks in pipeline stages now default to active/upcoming only. Events today are highlighted green, upcoming are highlighted blue. Toggle Past Events to see history. Tasks default to active and overdue; toggle to Completed Tasks to see finished items.
"Go to Contact" from a pipeline now opens and focuses the correct contact record directly.
Pipeline Value Over Time (monthly chart), Estimation Accuracy Rate (% of deals within 10% of estimate), Average Estimation Gap, Document Activity, and Deal Outcome Overview.
Contact growth, pipeline performance, task completion, lead sources, and contact lifecycle stages — all improved with better visualizations and more time ranges.
Won deals automatically create Ledger entries marked as outstanding income. Mark as paid when the money arrives.
Global categories now apply to both income and expense entries. Attach contacts directly to any entry.
New Ledger Settings let you map pipeline stages to profit/loss outcomes.
Real-time monitoring across contacts (cold, at-risk, never followed up), pipeline (stale deals, pending confirmations), tasks (overdue), and activity gaps.
Surfaces your most relevant insights automatically on the Dashboard, rotating every 7 seconds.
Now fires for: deal won, deal lost, deal pending, ledger entry created, ledger entry auto-created from a won deal, and ledger entry marked paid. Each notification links to the relevant record.
Notifications are capped at 100 entries with automatic rolling removal of the oldest.
Contact tracker now shows X out of [plan limit] with a progress bar.
Shows templates and weekly document usage vs. plan limits.
Pro users see Analytics Snapshot, Ledger Summary, and the Insights Carousel — all with Month/Quarter/Year filters.
Create, rename, and mark statuses as Watched. Watched statuses are tracked in Analytics.
Create custom contact fields (text, number, date, dropdown), organize into categories, and use them in templates, filters, and analytics.
Set your logo, name, tagline, website, phone, email, and colors once. Used automatically across all documents.
Bottom nav fixed across all screen sizes. Documents viewable on mobile in a clean scrollable layout. Mobile template editing redirects to a larger-screen message. Insights page is a clean vertical stack on mobile.
Full tablet editing including complete toolbar support.
Stage tabs default to active items only — no stale clutter.
"Go to Contact" from pipeline correctly focuses the right record.
Three centered rows, no overflow.
Documents render at correct US Letter proportions with automatic page breaks.
Plan limits now read correctly on the Documents page.
Shows "Subscription ends on [date]" instead of "Next billing date".
Auto-dismiss after 5 seconds with a persistent close button.
Core systems refinement — reliability, smarter workflows, and deeper CRM integration across every module.
Rapidly remove contacts without navigating multiple menus. Activating Quick Delete transforms each contact row's options menu into a direct delete icon for immediate removal.
Deleted contacts are now stored in a recoverable trash area for up to 30 days. The trash holds a maximum of 30 contacts — when exceeded, the oldest entry is automatically purged. Trashed contacts are read-only and can be restored or permanently deleted. A global Empty Trash option is available.
Contacts can now be browsed with adjustable page sizes: 10, 25, 50, or 100 contacts per page. Page navigation makes large contact lists easier to manage.
Imported statuses now automatically register as system statuses and appear in status filters and Settings → Custom Statuses. Each status is auto-assigned a distinct color for visual clarity.
The timeline now automatically logs: meeting creation, task creation, pipeline stage movement, notes added, files attached, field updates, and contact interactions — all in one place.
When a contact has more than five timeline entries, the panel becomes scrollable rather than growing indefinitely, keeping the contact view clean and usable.
Each pipeline stage now supports three switchable views — Contacts, Events, and Tasks — allowing teams to manage all activity directly inside the pipeline.
Stages with more than five items become internally scrollable, preventing pipelines from growing excessively long with large numbers of contacts or tasks.
A sticky header with a search bar and contextual filters (status for contacts; priority for events and tasks) was added to each scrollable stage section.
Pipeline contact cards were redesigned to match the compact layout used on the Contacts page, reducing vertical space and improving overall readability.
Tasks can now be linked to a pipeline, a pipeline stage, and a contact — enabling teams to track work directly inside pipeline progress.
Pipeline task entries remain compact by default but allow users to open extended details such as descriptions and additional information on demand.
Task contact search now correctly searches by contact display name, ensuring compatibility with full-name contacts, first/last name contacts, and imported contacts.
Events now support three priority levels — Low, Medium, and Maximum. Maximum priority events trigger stronger reminders across the system.
Events can now be linked to pipeline stages and appear directly inside pipeline views, keeping all stage activity in one place.
Analytics now correctly respond to time range selections: last 7 days, last 30 days, and last 90 days. Charts and metrics update dynamically based on the selected range.
Analytics now surface clearer performance data across lead sources, contact status distribution, pipeline distribution, and activity trends.
Three categories — Contact Insights, Pipeline Insights, and Revenue Insights — let users toggle between focused views without leaving the page.
When no category is selected, key insight cards are shown: Money Left on the Table, Top Opportunities, Task Insights, and Calendar Insights.
Each insight now includes a clear explanation of how the result was calculated, so users understand exactly where the data comes from.
The ledger now tracks four core financial categories: Projected Revenue, Won Revenue, Lost Revenue, and Expenses.
Valued contacts and opportunities contribute to projected revenue. Accepted deals move into won revenue. Rejected deals move into lost revenue — all pulled directly from CRM records.
Users can still add manual expense entries for purchased leads, advertising, and operational costs.
The ledger now displays: projected revenue, won revenue, lost revenue, expenses, net profit, and projected net profit — all at a glance.
Revenue can be broken down by pipeline, pipeline stage, lead source, or contact/company — helping users understand exactly where value is being generated or lost.
Removed the outdated automation feature from plan descriptions. Added Ledger and Insights as Pro features, accurately reflecting what the platform offers today.
Documentation now includes explanations of Insights, guidance on the Ledger system, and updated feature descriptions. References to deprecated automation systems have been removed.
